Chelsae & Eric :: Sonoma, CA

July 3rd, 2017

I'm so excited to announce, we were featured in Wedding Chicks!! Check out the full article below

From Wedding Chicks:

Spring is coming, we promise! And to help hold you over for those warmer days, we wanted to share Chelsae and Eric's gorgeous garden wedding! Not only is the venue beautiful and blooming but the wedding party and guests look to be truly having the best day ever.

You can keep scrolling to see more of this lovely day, plus a wedding video you won't want to miss. Alison D Photography provided us with all of these lovely images. You can see more of them in the full gallery

A Wedding Style

The beautiful Garden Pavilion is a hidden gem, tucked away in Sonoma and played a perfect host to Chelsae and Eric's outdoor wedding. Chelsae and Eric created the wedding of their dreams with pretty shades of pink, gold, and sage to complement the natural beauty of their venue. The bridesmaids wore various shades of blush and gold, tying them in beautifully with the groom’s sage bow ties, creating a light and airy element to the affair.

From the Bride: My bridesmaids picked their own dresses based on my direction to pick a long dress that is either blush, light pink, champagne, or gold. And I asked them to get a dress they love and would want to wear again for another event. They picked beautiful dresses and shared photos with each other along the way to make sure the colors coordinated well. It worked out perfectly. The dresses they picked looked beautiful together

A Sweet Ceremony

The ceremony was breathtakingly wonderful as the bride and groom exchanged their vows in front of their friends and family. Our favorite moment was when Chelsae’s grandfather read a poem dedicated to the new couple.

From the Bride: Decide what wedding elements mean the most to you and plan your special day accordingly. You can personalize your wedding to fit who you are as a couple and create an event that you are proud of and passionate about bringing to life. Don't spend a lot of time and money on wedding details that you don't care about.

Let's Dance!

Dancing commenced under the stars in the glass pavilion as family and friends danced the night away we were able to sneak the couple away for sunset photos in the lavender herb garden and vineyard before their sparkler send off. Such a great way to end the night. I was happy to witness this day and see the love Chelsae and Eric had for each other.

From the Bride: We served our guests strawberry shortcake and we planned to have a small cake for our cake cutting. Unfortunately, our cake didn't make it to the wedding. We found out halfway through the reception that we didn't have a cake and made the call to skip the cake cutting. It worked out fine. No one noticed that we didn't have a cake cutting. We had such an awesome bouquet toss and a sparkler send off that we didn't even miss the cake cutting. If we planned our wedding all over again, I think we would skip the cake cutting again.

Check out the wedding film from the Siren & Co. to get a closer look at this pink and gold spring garden wedding!

Rachael & Kenny :: Camarillo Ranch

June 18, 2017

These two met at Mervyns! I mean come on, what?! We met Rachael and Kenny by accident. We needed some people to be models for a photoshoot and Rachael and Kenny, came to our rescue ! We fell in love as we connected over Disney, (Disney addicts). And once the talk of wedding came about we were invited to be apart of capturing their happily ever after, 10 years in the making.

We are so excited to announce that we were published on Pretty Pear Bride!!! Check out the full article below. Enjoy!

Rachael and Kenny had a ten-year journey together before saying “I do” with a meet cue that started, at the department store Mervyn’s! The historic Calamigos Ranch was a breathtaking backdrop to Racheal and Kenny’s sweet wedding. From the beginning of their planning process the couple wanted each of their personalities to shine through. For the Groom, his love of Superman reflected in his groomsmen as well as the reception table numbers. Each table number was a different superman comic book, as his groomsmen wore different superhero jerseys under their suits. For the Bride her personality reflected in the style of her dress. She wanted her dress to match her veil, as it was an heirloom passed down from generation to generation. You could feel the love these two had throughout the day.

Destination Wedding Wish list

We may be LAXed based, but We LOVE to travel! So we put together a little destination wedding wish list! Here we go::

- Hawaii (or course!)

-New York (back to Michael's territory)

-Colorado (during the winter time, a snow wedding sounds fun)

-Las Vegas

-Southern Planation (in Savannah Georgia)

-South Africa

-Jamaica/the Bahamas (ok two different islands)

-Dominican Republic (also a different Island)

-Cabo San Lucas/Puerto Vallarta (Yes, they are both Mexico, but different parts)

-New Zealand

and for some reason, the San Diego Zoo sounds like so much fun, not destination, but a cool venue!

So SHARE and spread the word, and let us know, if any one is thinking about a destination wedding

One Year

On April 24th, 2017 the Siren & Co. celebrated our One year anniversary. They say the first year is the hardest and we're excited to announce... we survived!! We've learned a lot, made new friends and had quite the journey. Thank you for all the love and support, we wouldn't be able to do this without you! And so the adventure continues.

Moa & Luis

We don't normally do engagement sessions, but when our rock and roll couple Moa + Luis asked, we couldn't say yes fast enough! Since they were getting married at the Beverly Hills Court house, we decided to create a stylized shoot, before the big day. Here are a few of our favorite shots. Enjoy!
